NEW YORK - Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/ Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism revealed record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% over the year before. It is so exciting to once again see an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers in 2019, stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking tourism entry numbers each month.
